1. Provide early intervention services to infants 0-3 years either
in-home and/or designated location during the business hours of
8:00 am to 5:00 pm, unless otherwise arranged.
2. Provide developmentally appropriate activities to stimulate
the child's growth based on current development assessment.
3. Complete necessary paperwork, such as updating semi-annual
objectives, discontinuation report, monthly documentation of child's
progress, etc, in an accurate and timely manner.
4. Update child's file monthly to show progress toward established
goals.
5. Maintain direct contact with supervisor, (program director
or lead child education specialist), and PS consultants on an
established schedule.
6. Keep supervisor apraised of any concerns directly or in-directly
related to all clients.
7. Maintain effective communication with all agencies involved
in the infant's care, such as TCRC ESSC, CPS, CCS, etc. to ensure
team collaboration in meeting each child's need.
8. Educate and assist families with service needs.
9. Attend IFSP and transition IEP meetings. Participate in assessment
and planning process.
10. Participate in the transition beginning at 2.0 years to determine
appropriate pre-school placement.
11. Attend 15 hours of in-service/continuing education training
per year that will directly benefit infant and child services.
12. Attend all scheduled in-services and staff meeting. Provide
staff trainings on child development as needed.
13. Participate in quality assurance and peer review.
14. Participate in an annual performance review.
1. Will perform nutritional assessments and provide written report
on each child during the business hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm,
unless otherwise arranged.
2. Will work with child and parent education specialists in a
supervisory capacity as assigned.
3. Will attend staff meetings, in-services and training as appropriate.
4. Will contact TCRC as needed and be available to TCRC for recommendations.
5. Will provide staff training in areas of knowledge as needed.
6. Will report directly to Program Director and Behavior Enhancement
Supervisor.
1. Will perform speech assessment as needed and provide written
report on each client; developing goals and objectives based on
assessment findings during the business hours of 8:00 am to 5:00
pm, unless otherwise arranged.
2. Will work with staff and other professional in a collaborative
capacity.
3. Will provide hands on training to the family and child in
a one to one ratio or group setting.
4. Will contact TCRC as needed and be available to TCRC for recommendations.
5. Will provide staff training in areas of language development
and speech as needed.
6. Will report directly to Program Director.
7. Attend IEP/IPP/Team meetings as scheduled for each client.
Participate in assessment and program/curriculum planning process
to address skill deficits.
